Who We Are

Rooted in the vibrant spirit of Boston, MetroCobras Inc. is a community-based non-profit organization, originally founded in 2011 as an extension of the Metropolis Youth Track Club. In 2019, we officially became MetroCobras Inc., expanding our vision while staying true to our roots.

Over the past 12+ years, MetroCobras has touched the lives of hundreds of youth and families. Our mission is to empower youth through physical fitness, academic support, and positive mentorship so they can make strong, healthy decisions on and off the track.

Our athletes often share that through practices and races, they develop a deep sense of self-confidence and self-assuredness. They learn that with hard work, consistency, and support, they can accomplish the goals they set for themselves.

MetroCobras serves a wide age range of athletes, from 6–18 years old. Our older athletes, many of whom have grown up in the program, often step into leadership roles encouraging, guiding, and supporting younger runners. This peer mentorship builds leadership skills that carry far beyond our organization and into school, family, and community life.
